Taxman is on ridiculous form with this experimental beast of a release on Playaz. A random scattering of high-pitched synths, samples from 80s electronica references and a rising, lifting undercurrent can't detract from a filthy oscillator of a bass line that seems all the more rude for the unusually light flavours of everything else in the track.
And with flipside Thr33 Taxman takes that old skool influence further with a triplet time signature, drawing tighter around a relentless skipping beat and sub bass stabs. The Taxman proves once again he is never one to rely on a formula.
