Impossible EP

The title of this EP sends a message to expect the impossible from Nothing Long Records. And while we’re getting similar hard jump up to what we saw from Complex and his ilk at Muzik Hertz, this new label threatens to take it further. The frantic LFO wobble effects beloved by the subgenre have been stripped to barebones bass barks and the simplest drum kicks, reaching a minimal jump-up sound that is all the more brutal for being so aggressively simple. Label heads Complex, Sensa and associate Nu Elementz rinse this formula to perfection, while a last track from Tommo smoothes out his bassline to deadly effect.
